Professor John King (AM)

Associate Professor John King AM has worked as a senior neurologist in private practice and at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is a founding member of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroscience Foundation (RMHNF), member of the RMHNF Scientific Advisory Committee, Chair of the Australian Association of Neurologists, and Multiple Sclerosis Liaison Committee, Former Chair of Australian Association of Neurologists, and Former President of the Australasian Association of Neurologists.

After completing his medical training undertook post-graduate training at Royal Melbourne Hospital, before undertaking international training in Papua New Guinea, London, and Germany.

Associate Professor King AM is AMA 4 accredited and undertakes a broad range of medicolegal consultations with a particular interest in medical negligence cases. He has many years of experience in medicolegal issues across a wide range of neurological disorders with a special interest in multiple sclerosis and rehabilitation. He is a member of Medical Panels in Victoria and is qualified to perform Impairment Assessments.
