Mr Ash Chehata is a Melbourne Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in upper limb surgery of the shoulder, elbow and wrist.

Mr Chehata studied medicine in Tasmania and Ireland, and completed his Orthopaedic Training program in Victoria. He was awarded the Covidien Training Fellowship through the Royal College of Surgeons to further his subspecialty interest in shoulder, elbow and wrist pathology.

He pursued advanced training overseas, undertaking upper limb fellowships in Europe. He gained valuable experience working alongside the President of the European Shoulder and Elbow Society, Prof Alessandro Castagna, and was involved in kinematic wrist research and clinical practice at the renowned international centre, Institute Kaplan in Barcelona.

Mr Chehata manages all conditions of the shoulder, elbow and wrist, specialising in the latest arthroscopic and surgical techniques. He is committed to providing the highest standard of orthopaedic care and offers a prompt local service that is responsive to the needs of patients.
