Associate Professor Michael Stubbs practices as an Oral Medicine Specialist in Melbourne and is the clinical editor for the international dental magazine ‘Australasian Dentist’. Associate Professor Stubbs lectures both nationally and internationally in the field of Oral Medicine which includes dental sleep medicine, oral and-facial pain including temporomandibular disorders, oral mucosal and jaw disease.

Associate Professor Stubbs completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1989 (University of Adelaide) and has specialist Masters’ degrees in both Oral Pathology 1998 (University Adelaide) and Oral Medicine 2002 (University Melbourne) and holds a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in General Dentistry and Oral Medicine.

Associate Professor Stubbs was head of the Oral Medicine Unit at the Alfred Hospital, and Specialist Consultant in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology within the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne.

Associate Professor Stubbs is AMA 4 accredited and undertakes a broad range of medicolegal consultations with a particular interest in medical negligence cases.
