Associate Professor Max Wolf is a consultant Haematologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as well as in private practice in Cabrini Hospital and Epworth Hospital in Bottom of Form Melbourne. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Associate Professor Wolf spent began working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital before moving to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute.

Associate Professor Wolf is now retired head of haematology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute. He is past chairman and life member of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG), the co-operative group which conducts clinical trials in haematological cancers in Australia.

He has been managing patients with a range of haematological malignancies and his major clinical and research interests have been in Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In his private practice, he looks after patients with both haematological malignancies such as lymphoma, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, etc., as well as benign haematological disorders such anaemias and various bleeding and clotting disorders. He has many years of experience as a clinician in the whole range of haematological diseases and their complications.

Associate Professor Wolf is able to provide reports in medicolegal cases with emphasis on medical negligence matters.
